Anchor: An Ohio State University student is putting out a 1989 calendar filled with pictures of bare-chested men,. The university says it might take that student publisher to court. Reporter Carol Luper shows us the calendar and the controversy.

Reporter: OK, here it is. Images: men of the scarlet & Gray. The university told calendar creator Sean Ashbrook he'd be sued if he used any OSU symbols, but he did anyway: a towel, and the stadium.

Reporter: Sean says he has a legal right to use these things.

Sean Ashbrook: I really don't want to have to not do this just because some university official, some bureaucrat, doesn't want me to do this. I mean, its my business, it has nothing to do with the university, it just includes university students and I cannot allow university officials to put me out of busienss.

Reporter: March model Mike Jablonski tells me this business has been a great experience for him.

Mike Jablonski: Its just a fun project that we all, we got together, and I really don't see where the university could be offended by it.

Reporter: Could part of the problem be that the university doesn't like to be associated with beefcake?

Reporter: The problem isn't bare-chested men?

Leslie Winters: No, we don't have a problem with bare chested men. We don't have a problem that tehy used students to do it, its merely that we didn't want our marks on the calendar.

Reporter: Marks or no marks, what do the customers think of the calendars?

Customer 1: Looks great to me.

Customer 2: I think they look really good.

Customer 3: A lot of cute guys.

Reporter: But cute doesn't cut it with the university and the bare fact is OSU may sue Ashbrook. Carol Luper, Eyewitness News.
