Marion Girl Appears as Calendar Pinup
Miss September is a local girl. Miss September, that is, in the 1991 Women of the Scarlet and Gray calendar which features Ohio State University students and others.
The debut of the calendar marks Marionite Tina Hotelling's second appearance. Hotelling is a junior at OSU.
Ashbrook's publications, the counterpart of which is the Campus Men of the Scarlet and Gray calendar, features young men and women, some in poses that photographer/producer Ashbrook calls "provocative" and others that he said are "All-American'
Hotelling was selected from among more than 500 students who tried out, Ashbrook said.
Ashbrook has published the calendar the past three years, and said the photographs were taken on Florida beaches and the OSU campus. Copies can be ordered at area Waldenbooks stores or by contacting Hotelling's parents at 389-5954.
