Groveport Ohio Girl appears in Pinup calendar
Groveport student appears in OSU calendar
Kathy Klingler, a Groveport resident and a junior at The Ohio State University, is currently being featured in a calendar of OSU students. Klinger is "Ms. March" in the 1993 "Women of the Scarlet and Grav " calendar, which is distributed statewide.
The calendar was photographed in and around The Ohio State University this past summer and features 'school spirit' type photographs. Klingler is pictured towing a car in the Ohio Stadium parking lot, a common sight on campus. "We call her Daisy Duke, because she looks so much like the character from the Dukes of Hazzard," said Sean Ashbrook, publisher of the calendar.
A 1990 graduate of Groveport Madison High School, Klingler is the daughter of Marvin and Nancy Thompson of Groveport. She was "discovered" working at OSU's Long's Bookstore, which sells the calendar.
Copies of the $8.95 calendar may be obtained at bookstores throughout Ohio. Groveport residents can obtain a copy directly from Klingler's parents by calling 836-2144.
