Cridersville Ohio Girl Appears in Pinup Calendar
Cridersville woman is dubbed OSUÕs Ms. March
A Cridersville resident Is one of the featured students on the Ohio State University calendar.
Schelli Cavanaugh, a graduate of OSU and daughter of Patricia and Stephen Cavanaugh of Cddors\41le is "Ms. March" in the 1993 "Women of the Scarlet and Gray" calendar which is distributed statewide in Ohio.
The calendar was photographed in and around the Ohio State University and features "school spirit" type photographs. Cavanaugh is pictured as a tongue in cheek "Lantern" reporter, referring to the school's campus newspaper.
The calendar has gained much notoriety since it was first published by Ashbrook in 1987.
Sean Ashbrook, 25, publisher of the. calendar, said, "This is something we have never done before. In the past, we have taken photographs on beaches in Florida. This is new and sets us apart from other calendars on the market. It's 100 percent OSU ... for the OSU fan, "
Cavanaugh graduated from Wapakoneta Senior High School in 1988. She was "discovered" for the calendar by Ashbrook while walking on campus. This was her first experience at modeling.
